Acting Up Stage Company is dedicated to producing, developing and advancing the versatile art of musical theatre by: i. interpreting contemporary, thought-provoking work through the lens of our country’s artists; ii. bringing new musicals to life; and iii. developing the artists and audiences of tomorrow.

“Acting Up Stage Company began in 2005 as a response to a market dominated by musicals based on pop songs or movies,” says Artistic Producer Mitchell Marcus. “We wanted to provide an alternative musical experience with rich scores and powerful stories.”
