Brittany is thrilled and honoured to be working with Acting Up Stage this year as a recipient of the Banks Prize! After receiving her Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Prince Edward Island, Brittany relocated from her fair island home to pursue music theatre at the Randolph Academy. Before finishing her studies there this past summer, Brittany made her Toronto Fringe Festival debut as Eleanor in Big Love (Annex Theatre), which she also co-music directed. Happy to now call Toronto home, Brittany is about to begin filming a TV pilot for be[Foreclosure], created by Humber student Malkiel Cabrera. Favourite credits include: Diana, Anne & Gilbert (The Guild); Sally, You’re A Good Man… (Indian River); Kate, The Taming of the Shrew (Vagabond), she has also performed at the Canada Games, the Vancouver Olympics and in Tokyo, Japan. This December Brittany will choreograph Anne & Gilbert at the National Arts Centre.
