The centrepiece of the Acting Up Stage Company season is the Mainstage Production. Each year, we present an acclaimed, modern musical with a stellar artistic team, for a minimum of four weeks.

Acting Up Stage Company works with Canada’s finest and most accomplished directors, musical directors, designers and performers whose credits include appearances on Broadway, London’s West End, Stratford Shakespeare Festival, Shaw Festival, Soulpepper, Canadian Stage Company, Charlottetown Festival, and regional theatres across the country.

In the last four years, we have received 13 Dora Mavor Moore Award nominations for The Light in the Piazza, A New Brain, A Man of No Importance and Elegies: A Song Cycle – more nominations than any other independent company in the musical theatre division.

Acting Up Stage Company also presents a series of concerts and cabarets, which provides an opportunity for local artists to launch solo shows and expose their talents to new audiences.
