Education Programs

Participants in One Song GloryOur free musical theatre training program, One Song Glory, is offered to 45 young people from diverse backgrounds and communities across Ontario each year. These 13-19 year olds come together to train under the guidance of Toronto’s top musical theatre professionals in a positive and encouraging environment. We are proud to report that, to date, over 400 young people from across the province have completed One Song Glory, without cost to any of the participants.

As well, thanks to the support of TD Bank Group, we offer subsidized student tickets to all performances as well as special student matinees for secondary and post-secondary schools, allowing educators to use our productions to spark discussion about the social and political histories and themes addressed. Each student matinee ends with a Post-Show Chat hosted by community experts and members of the cast. As well, teachers are sent copies of our study guide, offering information, activities and lesson plans to enhance the theatre going experience for students.

For more information on our student matinee program, contact: Mitchell Marcus, Artistic & Managing Director at 416-927-7880 ext 222
