After our successful pilot production of Once On This Island Jr. and Little Women, Acting Up Stage Company will join forces again with The Stage Door Academy – an extra-curricular performing arts studio for young people located at Yonge & Eglinton - to produce a full-scale youth musical with unique professional mentorship opportunities in the Emerging Artists Project.

The Emerging Artists Project is for the passionate Musical Theatre student. Participants will perform a musical in a downtown Toronto theatre, under the direction of a professional creative team. They will take master classes from renowned Canadian theatre artists from Broadway, Mirvish, Stratford and Shaw, have a fun, theatrical outing to a musical, all while working as an ensemble to develop their technique and skills as performers. An inspiring, creative experience, led by professionals. 



Participants are auditioning for a place in the company - the ‘Emerging Artists Project.’ To best suit the company selected, the show will be announced once the troupe is cast.

Program begins: October, 2014
Program ends: March, 2015
Rehearsals: Once per week on Sundays
